Countryside Elementary
An estimated $6.9 million out of the $147 million referendum was spent at Countryside Elementary School, which includes all construction costs and non-construction items such as safety and security, furniture and technology. Key projects included:
- Building one new classroom
- Renovating the library to create a STEM space
- Upgrading the existing sensory room
Construction at Countryside began in Summer 2022 and was completed on time and within budget in winter 2023.

One new classroom was constructed at Countryside Elementary School. It was completed in winter 2023.

The new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) classroom at Countryside Elementary School. Thanks to the Build 220 initiative, all eight Barrington 220 elementary schools have a dedicated STEM space.
