Blessings in a Backpack
Barrington Children's Charities will be funding the Blessings in a Backpack Program for ALL schools in Barrington 220. Blessings in a Backpack provides students who qualify for the Free and Reduced Lunch program with six to seven food items to take home over the weekend.  This year's program, which kicks off our 8th year of Blessings will begin on Thursday, September 12th and will run until Thursday, May 21st.

Packing takes place every Thursday from 9:00 am to 10:00/10:30 am in the multi-purpose room at Sunny Hill School, 2500 Helm Rd., Carpentersville.  At least one volunteer from Roslyn is asked to assist each Thursday morning. Once packing is complete, the volunteer is responsible for taking and dropping off the packed food to Roslyn. The office then handles distribution of the bags to the individual student recipients as this is done on a confidential basis.

Box Tops Collection - Friday, September 13

Send your box tops to school in a bag or envelope labeled with the teacher’s name and number of box tops included. The class who submits the most box tops will win a popsicle party!
