The Great Debate Club for 5th graders

The Great Debate Club for 5th graders is an after school program run by College Tutors that is open to 5th grade students.  Debating is a fun, educational way of encouraging students to really engage with relevant topics!  Find out more about this program with this link: Club Proposal.docx

Barrington Giving Day - Candy Poppers

Barrington Giving Day is on December 8. Rose School will again assemble candy poppers to distribute to Barrington area families. Last year we donated close to 400 candy poppers! We will accept donations of left over Halloween candy from November 5-16. There will be a designated collection box in the front office.
Your donations will be used to fill the candy poppers and the 4th and 5th graders will have the opportunity to assemble the poppers during recess.
Details regarding the assembly of the poppers will be available at a later date. For any questions, please contact Michelle Lee at

Box Tops Contest

COLLECT AND TURN IN THOSE BOX TOPS!  For a short time, we will be having a grade level contest with collection bins for Box Tops in each pod.  They'll be collected by each grade level between the months of November to March. Be sure you contribute and help your child’s grade win a FREE CHOICE ACTIVITY this Spring!  Box Tops can be found on many common food product packaging such as cereals, paper products, frozen items and more! Each Box Top is worth 10 cents for our school so send in as many as you can!

Playground Donation Link

We need your financial support to help us achieve our goal of installing a new playground by spring break!  The structures we are interested in cost over $100,000 for the equipment and installation. The PTO has set up a link for families to make donations for the playground.  Please pass this along to anyone who may wish to make a donation.  Tax info. is included on the link for donors. The PTO is going to match the playground donations up to $25,000!
