Blueprint 220 community engagement
|
At its Oct. 2 meeting, the Board of Education discussed its three-part plan to seek community feedback this month about the Blueprint 220 master-facility plan.
The Board is working with communications firm UNICOM ARC to conduct a telephone survey and an online survey to a random sampling of residents who live within the Barrington 220 boundary area. Both surveys will be conducted in the next few weeks.
In addition, the Board has approved the formation of a Referendum Advisory Committee, which will meet four times between Oct. 8 and Nov. 12, to review the master plan. The committee is made up more than 50 community members. It will be led by the following three community members: Tom Burns, Cara Richardson and Brad Stetson.
In November the Board will review the results from the surveys and the feedback from the Referendum Advisory Committee, in order to help the Board narrow down which parts of the master plan a potential referendum question should focus on in the April 2019 general election.
