Board considers referendum on Spring 2019 ballot
At its July 17 meeting, the board of education continued its discussion on the next steps in the Blueprint 220 master-facilities initiative. The board plans to seek more community feedback this fall, in order to potentially put a referendum question on the April 2, 2019 ballot. In May the board held three meetings, where community members provided feedback on this draft master-facilities plan. In the draft-plan the board prioritized building renovations for our high school, middle schools and elementary schools. Priority levels build upon each other for a cumulative effect. For example, in the $250 million column, upgrades at the high school level include everything in the $80, $150 and $200 million columns.
