We hope everyone had a great summer! Barrington 220 is looking forward to welcoming students back to class for the 2018-19 school year. The first day of school for grades 1-12 is Monday, Aug. 20. The first day for pre-K and kindergarten students is Wednesday, Aug. 22.
On Wednesday, Aug. 15 parents will receive an email with instructions on how to access their student's bus route information on the Ride 360 website. From the website parents will be able to view assigned stops, estimated pickup and drop off times and the exact location of the stop.
The Ride 360 app is expected to be available to all parents in November. By downloading the app on their phones, parents will be able to receive updated bus arrival times, based on current traffic conditions.

Construction underway on new Health Sciences Lab at BHS
Over the summer crews have been working on the new Health Sciences Lab at BHS, which will be ready for the 2018-19 school year. The new lab, made possible by the Barrington 220 Educational Foundation and The Joyce Foundation, will provide students with a health care pathway leading to in-demand careers. In the past BHS has offered this pathway, but students had to take the class on the Harper College campus. The Barrington 220 Educational Foundation and Alumni Association will host an open house for the new lab at the 2018 Alumni Legends event: "Prescription for Success".
