All Lines parents, staff, students and Barrington community members are invited to attend a series of community conversations surrounding the Blueprint 220 future-ready facilities plan. Meetings are taking place at every school in Barrington District 220; our Lines meeting is taking place on Thursday, March 2, at 7:00 p.m. Results from environmental and structural studies conducted at each school will be presented to the community during the meetings. Architects will also seek input from those in attendance on ideas for improving our spaces in the future and provide insight on the next steps of the process.
We encourage all Lines families to attend the Lines meeting to be part of the process and to express their ideas for the future of Lines! Students of parents who attend the March 2 meeting at Lines will have their names entered into a raffle to have a pizza lunch with Dr. Hyllberg!!! The winners will be drawn at when the meeting is over at 8:30! Please visit www.barrington220.org/ blueprint220 or call Dr. Hyllberg at 847-842-7601 for more information.
Mark it down everyone! Come to the Lines Blueprint 220 Community Conversation in the Lines gym on 3/2/17 @ 7:00-8:30 p.m.

Save the date for the fifth annual Got2Run for Education. This is a fun, exciting 2.62 mile mini marathon or 8k run/walk in beautiful downtown Arlington Heights. A sizable portion of each registration fee comes back to Lines School for our wellness initiatives. Last year, Lines School received a check for $1058.75, largely due to a huge turnout of Lines Families and Staff.
We had over 70 registered participants.
This year, we would love to break the 100 participant mark! This is a great event to cap off our Running Club season and school year! Please check out the website, http://www.got2run.org for details.

The Speech Tournament will be held March 4 at Station Campus. All students have been memorizing their scripts and the coaches have been working with each group. When your group is ready, you may perform for one or two classrooms in February. This will give you the chance to practice in front of a group of students. Please ask the teacher what time would be best for the performance.
Last week the boys and girls 5th grade basketball teams took on the Lines Staff in a epic basketball game. The Student section consisting of 3rd-5th grade students loved seeing their peers and teachers battle it out on the court. The teachers emerged victorious in a very close and fun game. The teachers already started training for next years game. GO LINES!!!
