Introducing The Hawk Squawk!
5th graders now have the opportunity to work with Mrs. Parise on a regular Hough Street news show! Segments will be written and recorded over Zoom during lunch times and on students' own time. Any interested 5th grader should ask Mrs. Parise for a permission slip.
Not in 5th grade? We still need your help!
Each week, the 5th graders will take time to answer your burning questions. Do you have something you have always wondered about? A question you are curious about? Use this form to submit your question and it just might be featured on the next episode of The Hawk Squawk.
Know someone who has shown great character?
We would love to recognize them on our show! Each episode, we will choose one amazing Hough Hawk to highlight as our Student of Character! You can nominate someone here.

Mrs. Parise and the Book Wagon will be visiting different neighborhoods during lunch time, twice a week! Come check out a book (or pick up your holds). The book wagon should arrive by 12:30 and will only be around during lunch.
When visiting the book wagon, please keep in mind-
- masks need to be worn at all times
- please keep 6 feet of distance from other people
- you will need to choose books from a menu and won't be able to browse
- first come, first served. I hope we don't run out of fabulous choices, but if we do, I am so sorry!
- please know your student ID number
Book Wagon schedule
