Saturday, October 1, 2022
8am-10am: Join us from 8am-10am at Barrington High School for the Annual Andy Anderson Pancake Breakfast! Carry on the tradition of eating pancakes at Homecoming! Encourage your family and friends to join you. Sponsored by the Barrington Football Quarterback Club. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and children. Coaches, uniformed BHS and BYF football players, band, color guard, cheerleaders and dancers eat free.
10:15am: The BHS Homecoming Parade gets underway at 10:15am on Saturday, Oct. 1. All participants will leave from the METRA Station and march down Main Street to BHS. Alumni floats line up behind all the high school student entries, with the exception of the 50th Reunion Class which will take their place in the front of the parade. The theme this year is "Garden Party".
11am-4pm: Join us at the annual BHSAA Tailgate Party for ALL alumni and friends. The tailgate will take place in the Chessie’s parking lot at 200 Applebee Street. A shuttle bus will be running from noon to 2pm from Chessie's to Barrington Community Stadium.
1pm: The Homecoming football game will take place on Saturday, Oct. 1 at 1pm at Barrington Community Stadium. Come cheer on the Broncos as they take on Hoffman Estates High School! Please note, you will not be able to purchase tickets at the game. You will have to purchase your tickets online using the link below.
Please note, on Saturday night (Oct. 1) Reunion Classes plan their own events around the area. On Sunday morning (Oct. 2) many Reunion Classes plan a brunch or meet up for coffee at local sites.
Michelle Wu (BHS '03) won the Boston mayoral race in November 2021, making her Boston's first woman and first Asian American mayor.
Laura Lopez (BHS '00) has been awarded the Early Career Prize from the High-Energy Astrophysics Division of the American Astronomical Society (AAS).
