Virtual Backpack

To ensure accessibility for all members of our community, we are updating the requirements for organizations submitting materials to be shared through our Virtual Backpack.

Effective immediately, all PDF documents submitted by community partners must meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards. This update supports our commitment to providing equitable access to information for individuals of all abilities.

Submissions that do not meet these accessibility requirements will not be posted until they have been updated accordingly.

We appreciate our community partners’ cooperation in helping us maintain an inclusive and accessible experience for all families. If you have questions or need guidance on creating accessible documents, please contact our office.

Ensure that your flyer clearly states "Not sponsored by Barrington 220". Then, fill out the Virtual Backpack Request Form and attach a PDF version of your flyer to the form. Flyers for qualifying organizations (Board Policy 8:25) will be uploaded once a week. If you have trouble with your file, please contact aloizzi@barrington220.org.
