Help meet our very special matching grant challenge and
provide reading tools at each 220 schoolHurry! Matching Grant Program ends September 15!Some of our students struggle each day to make reading "work" for them. But words can move, change shape or appearance, or run together.Barrington 220 offers a range of tools for students with reading challenges. The District 220 Educational Foundation now has a unique opportunity to enhance that effort by providing innovative new assistive technology devices developed specifically to help students with special needs become better readers.Click here for a complete description of the exciting assistive technology devices under the Read-ability project. The Educational Foundation wants to provide a set of these reading tools for every school, K-12, in Barrington 220. Although that's a cost of about $27,000, a generous donor has already pledged half the amount needed--with a challenge. Can the community match the grant? The remaining challenge is only about $1,200 per school!"For people without special needs, technology makes things easier. For people with special needs, technology makes things possible."Join us, and together, let's make things possible!
