Barbara B. Rose Elementary

Approximately $8.7 million out of the $147 million referendum was allocated to Barbara B. Rose Elementary School, which included all construction costs and non-construction items such as safety and security, furniture and technology. Additional key projects include:

• Building a STEM lab in the current courtyard
• Building a sensory room to provide students with a therapeutic space where they can focus themselves so that they can be better prepared to learn
   

Construction at Rose began in summer 2023. The sensory room was completed for the start of the 2023-24 school year. The STEM lab was completed in January 2024. Click here to view the September 2022 Community Design Presentation.
