General PTO Information
Roslyn Road’s PTO has a long tradition of working in the interest of all students, promoting school/home communications and implementing initiatives for the best interests of the Roslyn Road School community.
Membership in the PTO is open to all parents/guardians of children enrolled in Roslyn Road School and becomes active upon payment of annual dues. Our principal and faculty are automatically awarded membership in the PTO.
Control and management of the affairs of the PTO is vested in the PTO Board which consists of the PTO Executive Council and the chairpersons of all PTO committees. The Executive Council is made up of elected officers, the principal, two faculty liaisons and a representative from the front office.
General membership meetings are held on the second Thursday of every school month. All members are encouraged to attend. Start times alternate between mornings and evenings to accommodate other schedule commitments. If possible, a seven day advanced notice will be given for any meeting time changes.
