    SNOWFLAKE

    Registration will be open from October 1st-October 29th.  The Revtrak link (needed to register) was sent to the parent email on file for district communication on October 1st.
     
     

     

    WHAT IS SNOWFLAKE?
    *An event where students focus on a variety of topics related to adolescent concerns
    *Group leaders help enforce positive decision-making and healthy behaviors to peers
    *Large group sessions with the presenter are followed by small group discussions and activities
     
    COST OF SNOWFLAKE
    *$30.00 Infinite Campus payment (select a Snowflake fee will be added to your account), 
       -Includes: snack, program materials, dinner (pizza, chips, cookie and drink) and t-shirt.
     
    ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
    * Participants will share in all scheduled activities and should plan on staying for the duration of the event.
    * Students are in small groups with an adult leader and 2-3 high school leaders.
    * Groups are random, but 6th grade is together and 7th and 8th graders are together. 
    * If your child has specific allergies or dietary concerns you are asked to provide an alternate dinner and notify us prior to the event.   
     
    SPEAKER INFORMATION: 
    * 2019's Speaker will be David Flood.

    PARKING AND PICK UP:
    *We are continuing the parking and pick up directions from previous years.

    *You may also want to consider carpooling. 
    *Please review the diagram in the link below to ease the congestion at pick up, as there are typically over 600 students registered this year.
     
     

    PARENT PROGRAM:
    *All parents are invited to listen to our speaker present on the challenges that face our students in the high school setting with regards to choosing to be drug and alcohol-free. 
    * You should plan on arriving at 7:10 in the commons area (we will move to the large gym when the students have completed their session.)
    * Parent Program is from 7:20 - 8:05 (times are approximate). 
    *Parents will be joined by the students, and leaders to listen to the last session and celebrate the close of another positive Snowflake experience.
