Did you know that the BHS PTO funds many programs that benefit both students and staff each year? Without fundraisers, the PTO relies on your dues to fund these programs each year. Your annual dues provide the funds needed to pay for events and programs like:
- College Night to bring in all the college reps to help students learn more about their options
- Testing support for students with extended time on standardized tests
- Freshman Orientation
- Donation to the nurse's office to purchase items they need outside their budget
- Student Health Fair
- Staff grants for materials and programs teachers run that are the icing on the cake for students
- Decision Day for Seniors
- Staff hospitality
- ... And more!
PTO dues are just $25 per family, which allows these and so many more events to take place each year. The PTO also welcomes volunteers, as many of these programs also need volunteers to make them happen, so be on the lookout throughout the year to get involved and gain a new view into the high school.
