Welcome to the homepage for the Barrington 220 Communications Department! We work to promote the achievements of the district through public relations, marketing and branding efforts. The team is also responsible for developing crisis communications strategies, serving as a liaison to the media, as well as building relationships between the school district, alumni and community members. Our goal is to make sure our staff and members of the public have a voice and are informed of all the wonderful programs, events and achievements happening in Barrington 220 each and every day.

Communication Awards
The Barrington 220 Communications Department is a member of the Illinois Chapter of the National School Public Relations Association (INSPRA). Each year INSPRA holds a statewide communications contest where professional school communicators from across the country judge submissions from IL school districts. Each entry is evaluated by three judges against a rubric of excellence.
