General Information For BHS Key Club's  Homeless Sleep Out
Objective: To help raise money for PADS and awareness about homelessness. 100% of proceeds will go to PADS. PADS is an acronym for Public Action to Deliver Shelter. The goal of the program is to provide hospitality, food, and emergency shelter to homeless people from October 1 through April 30 of each year.
Plan: Barrington High School students participating will talk to people about homelessness and ask for donations for PADS. Our goal is for very student participating to raise at least 100 dollars. We will then continue to raise awareness by pretending as if we are homeless and have a Sleep Out. To get a genuine feeling of being homeless we will sleep in boxes and not have the joys of electronic devices, nice food, etc.
    Time: 7:00pm to 7:00am
    Dates: TBA
Where: BHS Kay Baer Courtyard, across from Photo Lab.
What I Need: Cardboard boxessleeping bags, blankets, pillow, and dress VERY warm. Do not bring anything else! No cell phones, cameras, food, etc. Snacks will be provided, like crackers and peanut butter and jelly.
