    PTO Fundraiser
Thank you to the PTO for all their efforts with coordinating our fundraiser this year.  The Great Gatsby event was fun and very successful.  With all the generous donations we will be able to install the rock wall over Spring Break.  This will allow all our students to utilize it prior to the end of the year.  On behalf of the students and staff THANK YOU for your contributions.

Incoming 6th grade Parent Orientation Nights

Each year the two middle schools provide an evening program for parents with a child moving to sixth grade. The orientation night is designed to provide an introduction and overview of the opportunities and programs available at middle school. In addition to learning about middle school programs, parents will have a chance to meet staff members and tour the schools. The programs will run from 6:00-8:00pm. Station’s night is Wednesday, April 5th, and Prairie’s program is Thursday, April 6th. More information will be coming home from the middle schools in the coming weeks.

BluePrint 220 Parent and Community Meeting
    BluePrint 220
North Barrington students and community members are invited a community conversation surrounding Blueprint 220: A future-ready facilities plan.

Blueprint 220 is a multi-year plan to align our facilities with our innovative style of teaching and learning. A successful plan will incorporate feedback from the community and educational stakeholders, paired with current research and best practices in educational planning and design.

Phase one of this process has already begun. Architectural firm DLR Group has been conducting environmental and structural evaluations of our buildings as well as shadowing students to understand the flow of traffic through each school. Results from these studies will be presented to the community at each meeting. Architects will also seek input from those in attendance on ideas for improving our spaces in the future, and provide insight on next steps of the process. Click here for a complete timeline.

Meeting at North Barrington will take place: March 15th, 7-8:30 PM

    North Barrington Elementary School | 24175 N. Grandview Dr., North Barrington, IL 60010 | (847) 381-4340
