This notification is to advise all patrons, occupants, or their legal guardians, collective bargaining organizations, and parent-teacher organizations, that the asbestos management plans required under the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) are available for review upon request. Copies of the plans for all buildings under the jurisdiction of this local education agency are available in the administration building, located at 515 West Main Street, Barrington, Illinois 60010 (847-381- 6300). Plans for individual schools and other buildings are located in the administration office of each building. The plans can be viewed by any person during normal business hours of the particular school. Interested parties wishing to inquire about the hours and times that the plans are available should call the above number.
The management plans can provide information regarding inspections, response actions, post response action activities, and periodic re-inspection and surveillance activities that are planned or in progress. Questions regarding the information contained in these management plans should be directed to the Director of Buildings and Grounds, (847-842- 3283) during regular business hours. Detailed reports have become part of each school's asbestos management plan and may be reviewed in the school office.
