  • To advise whether Barrington 220 should and could optimize the defined time and configuration of an instructional day based on student and organizational needs, understanding the system-wide impact on grades pre-K through 12. “Defined time and configuration” may include the start and end times of the school day as well as the allocation of instructional time within the school day. Any recommendation(s) must address how optimizing time for learning can be achieved and how it will be operationally feasible, such as but not limited to developmental, academic, financial, contractual, and transportation considerations that affect students, staff and community members. Objectivity, creativity and resourcefulness must be used to research all possible opportunities and options.
