Bus Transportation Information
Barrington 220 is excited to welcome grades 1-12 back to school on August 21 and early childhood and kindergarten students on August 23rd. Along with new start times, the district is also implementing a new transportation system to provide better control over route planning and more complete data. We ask for your patience as we open the school year with these exciting new changes that will enhance student safety and provide more accurate and timely routes for all students. The district is pleased to announce a new parent transportation website for viewing student transportation details. Parents are encouraged to visit e-link often.
Pick-Up Protocol:Parents are reminded buses do not wait for late students at pick-up locations. Students should be at their stop 5 to 10 minutes BEFORE and wait 5 to 10 minutes AFTER their scheduled pick-up time, especially during the first few weeks of the school year. The district provides regular, scheduled transportation for students when required by Parenting Agreements and convenience to a Day Care Provider in your home school attendance area. Parents wishing to request alternate transportation on a fixed, regular schedule should complete the Alternate Transportation Request
