"I grew up in Chicago Heights. One of my cousins had an Italian restaurant there called Ada’s. I spent a lot of time in the business and acquired a love for cooking. It’s a true passion. I’ve been a professional cook now for 17 years, working in many different industries. Everything from the Chicago Yacht Club and fine dining restaurants, to corporate dining and healthcare. This is my first time working at a school. I’m excited to cook for the students. When I was in high school, lunches were mostly processed. Frozen pizza. Nachos. A lot has changed through the years. I’m all about fresh produce, fresh meats, fresh dairy. For me, it’s all about being proud of what you do. Not everybody is going to be happy with what you serve, but if you can put out a really superior product, that’s what it’s all about."-Eric Corradetti, New BHS Executive Chef #Binspired
