The 7A Fillies cruised to a 26-10 victory over Fox River Grove last night. Tight defense downed the Eagles from FRG. Today, the fighting Fillies will square off versus LZ South here at home at 4:00. Come lend a cheer! GO FILLIES!

Cross Country:
In a tough conference meet last night, Station athletes really showed their strength with some outstanding personal finishes. In the 6/7th grade race, Joey B. finished 3rd overall against approximately 70 competitive runners. 7th grader, Stephanie B. finished in 2nd place after being bumped up to compete in the 8th grade competition. And Joey S. finished in an amazing 4th place against some very fierce 8th grade runners. Congratulation athletes on a remarkable season.
Station will be sending 20 runners to the Sectional competition on Saturday. Please wish sectional qualifiers good luck. All cross country athletes Meet in room A8 after school today for the End of the Season Pasta Party/ Awards Banquet
Newspaper Club begins next week!! Called "Station Xpress," the newspaper is filled with fun and informative articles about daily life here at Station and around the world! If you're a writer and interested in joining the club, come to our first informational meeting Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 7 am in C-4, Mrs. Hunter's room.
Apologies to 6th, 7th and 8th Grade students...Student Council Sponsors forgot to come in to lunches this past Friday for music. We will catch you this Friday with music-we promise! Keep showing your school spirit!
Any 7th grade boys trying out for basketball, if you have your blue sheet filled out please turn it in before tryouts to Mrs. Domenz. Make sure you have a physical on file before Oct. 19th.

Attention Station Students and Parents:? Teens for Teens is currently conducting a COSTUME DRIVE. If you have any gently used or unused costumes that you would like to donate, there is a drop off box in the Station lobby now until next Friday, October 9th. The costumes will be given to the kids from Hope Alive!, the Cabrini Green afterschool program, at our annual Pumpkinfest. This was a highlight of the fest for them last year, so we appreciate any donations. Thanks for your support! Any questions, please contact Kathleen McLaughlin at kmclkln6@aol.com. Any size costume is great!

Attention Debate Team! If you are planning on attending the competition on Thursday, you need to stop by and speak with Mr. Seidel. The competition is at Deerpath Middle School in Lake Forest; be prepared to turn in any extra research this week.
