Callbacks are today from 3:00-6:00.  Full cast list will be posted tonight by 9:00pm.  Full Cast rehearsal tomorrow in M3 from 2:30-4:30.

There will be activity busses this Wednesday

 

8th Grade Volleyball tryouts will be today and and tomorrow after school

 

7th Grade Volleyball Tryouts will be this Wednesday and Thursday after school

 

2nd Quarter grades close on Jan 21. Will you earn a BUG award. Yu still have a few days to bring up those grades.

8th Grade Dance

The eighth grade dance this year will be on Friday, May 14th from 7:00 to 10:00 PM in the gymnasium at Station Campus. Students are expected to dress appropriately for this event. Clothing selections should consist of dressy casual. The girls can wear sundresses or skirts and blouses. Students wearing strapless dresses will not be allowed to attend. The boys can wear a collared shirt (polo or button down) and dockers/slacks. Students wearing shorts and/or t-shirts will not be allowed to attend. We are planning to have a fashion show highlighting "what to wear" for students on Thursday, March 18th.

Snowflake 2010

Registration is now open for Snowflake 2010! This program focuses on making good choices, building positive self-esteem, drug and alcohol awareness, and just having fun! Snowflake is on Friday, March 5, 2010 from 2:50 until 9pm. Come join us for an entirely new experience with motivational speaker and comedian Matt Bellace! Cost of $20 includes tshirt, snacks, pizza.... Financial assistance is available. Drop of registration forms in front office to Ms. Seymour.Enrollment is limited to the first 430 students so act fast to reserve your spot!!! Questions see Ms. Schumacher or Mr. Rietz.

 

Hey! It's not too late to join scholastic bowl! We had 19 of Station's best and brightest at last Tuesday's first day of trials, should you be among them? There will be a 7th Grade Student Ambassador meeting on Thursday, 1/14

 

The 7A boys basketball team beat Grayslake last night 42-25. Scott Bennett scored 20 points last night. Great job by everyone!  Good Luck tonight!!!

 

The pizza party for the 7th grade boys basketball teams has been moved to Friday.  It will be in Mr. Chall's room from 3-3:30. Please have you ride there on time.  Turn in you bag with all uniforms at this time!!!

 

There will be a Yearbook meeting TODAY1/12, after school in Room B1. All members should try their hardest to attend.

 

All Yearbook Graffiti Artists: Your drawings are due this Friday, colored, to room B1. Thank you!

 

The Station Geography Bee is coming and you'll want to be prepared for the classroom bee so you can advance to the final which is this Thursday after school in C-4! The winner then advances to the state level!

 So, here's your GEOGRAPHY QUESTION OF THE DAY:  Which country, known for its peanut production, is surrounded on three sides by Senegal?

Check with your social studies/history teacher for the answer or come see Mrs. Hunter during your passing period!
