Station Summer Renovation Project:

The main school building is closed during the summer due to the construction. Station Administrative staff and assistants are located in the mobile unit throughout the summer months. Parents and visitors can park along Lines School driveway to access the mobile.
Please Note: The District calendar for the 2009-2010 school year has been amended. Students will attend school on Friday, March 12, 2010. Spring Parent/Teacher conference day has been moved to Friday, March 19, 2010.
Station ranked in the "Top 50 Middle Schools" Station campus moved up 8 spots from 2007 to a ranking of 46 on the prestigious list of the Top 50 Middle Schools in Illinois as determined by the Chicago Sun-Times in its annual report. Please see the December 2008 issue of the PTO newsletter for more information.
State Superintendent of Illinois Schools, Dr. Christopher Koch, visited District 220 schools on Thursday to present the 2009 Academic Excellence Award to nine Barrington schools including BMS-Station Campus. Dr. Koch is pictured here shaking hands with Barrington Superintendent, Dr. Tom Leonard, and all of the principals of the schools that earned the award.

April 7- Sunny Hill Incoming 6th grade Parent Orientation
April 14 & 16- Middle School Counselors visit Elementary Schools
April 20, 23, 28, 30 -Elementary students visit BMS-Station
August 7- Student Schedules come out
August 18-21 -Camp 6th Grade AM & PM sessions
August 17- Walk Through Day-6th graders
August 25- First Day of School
September 3-Back to School Night for all parents at Station Campus
Barrington Middle School Station Campus earned the 2008 Academic Excellence Award from the Illinois State Board of Education. Across the state, only 388 schools, 24 middle schools, received the Academic Excellence Award. The Illinois Honor Roll, which includes three categories of awards is available at http://www.ilhonorroll.niu.edu
Standardized Testing Information:
Please make every effort to plan time away from school around these testing windows as we often need to take students out of class to make-up tests.
