Enrichment Program is Coming February 7
Hard to believe that it is winter, but February is just weeks away. Beat the winter blues with Enrichment classes offered every Tuesday after school during the month of February. The dates for Enrichment are February 7, 14, 21, 28, with a snow date of March 6. There will be many exciting classes for all ages. The course catalog will be coming home for families to review within the next week. Please note that we will be signing up for courses online this year - details will be provided in the packets. We are still looking for volunteers to assist teachers in the courses. Volunteers are guaranteed their first choice for classes too! Box Tops for Education
The Countryside PTO is once again asking you to clip and save these throughout the year. For every Box Top collected, the PTO receives 10 cents. The current contest ends January 13. When you turn in sheets, be sure and place your child’s name on the form, as three students will be randomly selected to win a prize! We would like everyone to join in the contest, so start collecting now! If you have any questions, please contact Lisa Horn at lismar80@comcast.net.
Cultural Art Fair Needs Your Help!
We are seeking volunteers to help fifth graders create some fantastic dancing Dragons for our upcoming Cultural Art Fair on February 24. Each fifth grade class is working on a paper mache dragon head with Ms. Martin in art class. The dragons need bodies so that dancers can fit inside and entertain their fellow students in the days leading up to the Cultural Art Fair, which will be a celebration of Chinese food, art, culture and music. That’s where you come in! All materials and directions will be provided. Sewing ability will be helpful.
Yearbook Request for Pictures
The 2011 - 2012 Yearbook Committee is looking for your Countryside photographs. If you have any pictures from class parties, class field trips or the 5th grade trip to Timberlee please upload them to our secure Wildcat Yearbook Website.
Because this is a secure site you will need to request access. To do this:
- Go to http://csidewyc.shutterfly.com/
- If you are a current Shutterfly member enter your email address and password, if you are not click “sign up” and complete the requested information
- On the next screen click the “Ask” icon and add your name and your child’s class in the notes box then click “OK”
- Once you have been given access to the site you will receive an email with a link to the site

6-10 p.m. This event will feature live band with karaoke, great food & door prize. A small and selective auction will round out the evening. We are looking for anyone who would like to help on the Parent Party Committee. In addition we are looking to collect bottles of wine of $20 or more to create a Wine Lover’s opportunity. Red, White or Bubbly are all fair game. Interested in helping out? This event is casual and fun, a great opportunity to get to know people or see your friends that you might too busy to see!
