Congratulations to 7th grader Patrick H., winner of the 2010 Prairie Spelling Bee, and congratulations to 6th grader Bryce C., runner-up.  Way to go!

Any student who needs to purchase a new ID card.. please have your $5.00 to the front office first thing in the morning, if you would like the card the same day…Any requests made after  3rd hour will be given their cards the following day during advisory.  Thanks

"Lets Dance" is back for its 4th Season.
Barrington Middle Schools are offering Ballroom Dance and Manners classes for 7th and 8th graders during the months of Feb, March and April, 2010.  Classes are held at Prairie and Station on 5 Friday nights:  Feb. 19th, Feb. 26, March 12th at Prairie and April 9 and 16 at Station. Cost is $50.00 per student.  Scholarships will be provided  to those in need.  All applications are due by Friday, February 12th.  Please bring those completed forms to the main office…Blank applications are also available in  the mail office.  For more information please check the table under the plasma in the commons.

Congratulations to the Prairie wrestlers who had a strong finish to the week as they beat both Hawthorn North and Plumb Grove on Thursday.  They followed that up with a strong showing at the Matthews Tournament as they finished 3rd as a team.  Individual champions included Christian Kazanowski, Rachaad Delli, and Noe Martinez.  Earning 2nd pace were Julius Smith and Billy Odonnell.  Taking 3rd place were Jacob Bulandr and Taborist Robinson.  Finishing 4th were Jorge Nambo and Konrad Eiring.  Great job wrestlers!!!!!

The Barrington Area Ministerial Association (BAMA) in sponsorship with the Code Red Group of Barrington HS invite you to a  celebration of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., entitled DREAM..Performances by the Bataille Academie of Dance  and the Barrington Children's Choir with readings and dramatic presentations by BHS students and joyful participation by children from around the district.
