BMS Prairie Orchestra Program

The Barrington Middle School Orchestra program offers students a wonderful outlet for creativity and expression, while discovering the music's unique impact and its effect on the world in which we live. Cross-curricular/ disciplinary connections and collaborations are at the core of orchestral instruction, while building daily performance and musical skills.

Orchestra allows students to experience amazing non-verbal communication and instruction, as well as group interaction to create a common good.

Each of our three dedicated orchestras (grades 6,7,8) work on unique repertoire to increase every student's musical understanding and skill.
