Over $85,000 has been raised for smartboards

30 smartboards will be installed at Lines School

Fundraising began 3 years ago

In early Spring, we were $7,500 away from our goal.  Laps for Lines, coupled with a generous donation on Thursday from a Lines family, enabled us to reach this goal.  Thank you to the "Laps for Lines" Committee Chairs - Ellen Filley, Cindy Lenart and Julie Varrige - for organizing a spirited, well run, and active event.  This committee modestly credits the event's success to Mr. Kienzle and Ms. Evelo who organized the fitness stations, lead the "Amazing Race" in PE and invited high school athletes to showcase their talents at the event.

Smartboards in all classrooms would not have been possible without the support of the entire Lines Community!!  THANK YOU to everyone who has donated funds, volunteered at events, and supported the school spirit surrounding this 3 year goal.

Our students are fortunate to benefit from the multi-dimensional teaching offered by smartboards.
