Course Description:
This physical science course is offered to identified gifted and talented students at Prairie Campus and Station Campus. It is an accelerated course offering topics, concepts, and processes at least one year above grade level.
Enduring Understandings:
Energy takes on many forms and can influence matter in many ways.
Matter is made of atoms and is interdependent with its various forms, and is influenced by the various forms of energy. Scientists learn about nature through an organized approach to experimentation.
Scientific knowledge grows through the honest sharing of data among scientists and society.
