Course Description:
7th Grade students will develop an understanding of technological integration by creating connections through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and use of applied physics, digital and graphic design.

Enduring Understandings:
Students will develop an understanding that knowledge obtained through cooperative learning and hands-on experiences that promote the growth of the whole individual with essential lifelong learning skills.

Essential Questions:
How has the technology of animation changed the way we think?
Who is Walt Disney and how has he influenced the industry?
How can your skills in Adobe Flash be used in your core classes?
How can you use Microsoft Publisher to create an advertisement that clearly displays your information?
What type font should you use when displaying your advertisement on the internet?
Who is John Guttenberg and what did he do for society?
What is lift, gravity, drag, and thrust? Explain each one.
What is Bernoulli’s principle and how does it help humans achieve flight?
Who achieved flight first and when?
What forces oppose each other in flight and how do we overcome these forces?
