Welcome To My Classroom

Welcome to the fabulous fourth graders of Room 219! I'm looking forward to partnering with you for an incredible year of new experiences with your children.

Homework Schedule
	Each night, children will be given math and reading homework. The reading will consist of independent reading for 20 minutes and completing a log with reflections. The number of minutes will increase each trimester as the children become more immersed in reading. For math, children will complete two practice assignments nightly related to the day's lesson. All unfinished classroom assignments will need to be completed for homework, as well. Spelling: Children will be given a pretest each Thursday for the new spelling list. On that day, the spelling packet for the unit will go home as well. Spelling packets are due the following Wednesday, which will also be the day of the unit test.
