Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year!  I look forward to working with both you and your child this year! 

Each night your child is expected to read for at least 20 minutes.  Math homework is assigned on a daily basis and is usually two pages.  In addition, your child should also set aside some time each night to practice his/her basic math facts.  Besides studying for the Friday spelling tests each night, the children come home with a spelling packet at the beginning of the week, and these packets are due each Thursday.  It is very important that you check your child's home folder each night and assignment planner so you are aware of the assignments that are due.
