Arnett C. Lines Elementary School opened in the fall of 1969, and we are celebrating 40 years of Lines excellence. Are you or your family members former Lines students? We are creating a database of Lines graduates and collecting old pictures, newsletters, and articles about Lines School to be shared at our community open house on April 29, 2010. Lines Fact of the Month
Did you know...that there used to be no walls between the classrooms? There were expandable curtains instead! Lines was built as an innovative open classroom environment and concrete walls were added when the new wing was built in 1999. The size of the original circle classroms were doubled!
