Barrington High School Athletic Training Staff

 

 

Kevin Stalsberg MS, ATC/L

Kevin is in his third year leading the athletic training program and the second as a District 220 employee.  He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and holds a masters degree in athletic training from the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga.  Prior to BHS, Kevin was an athletic trainer at WCS Occupational Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine, the head athletic trainer for 3 years at Delaware State University, an NCAA Division I-AA school and the head athletic trainer at Concordia-Moorhead, a NCAA Division III school for 3 years before that.  Mr. Stalsberg has worked events in conjunction with USA wrestling, gymnastics, hockey and weight lifting.

 

Kevin resides in Wheeling.

Mary Leafblad ATC/L

Mary is an Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers employee and was raised in multiple cities in Wisconsin.  She went to college at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and graduated with a bachelors degree in kinesiology-athletic training in 2002.  She then continued her education at UW-Eau Claire taking graduate courses and working as the graduate assistant athletic trainer for Chippewa Falls High School in Chippewa Falls, WI.  Since the summer of 2005, Mary worked for Crystal Lake Orthopedics Surgery and Sports Medicine as a physician extender and the sole athletic trainer at Prairie Ridge high school. She is enjoying her employment with Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers and athletic trainer at Barrington High School.

Renee Miller ATC/L

Renee is an Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers employee and was born and raised in Indiana.  She graduated from the University of Indianapolis with her Bachelors in Athletic Training.  She worked at Hendricks Regional Health on the west side of Indianapolis until moving to Illinois and now works for Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers as an athletic trainer for Barrington High School.
