Circulation Policies
Books and magazines may be checked out of the BHS Library with a valid student ID. Books are checked out for three weeks, and magazines may be checked out for one week. All items may be renewed as long as there are no outstanding fines. There is no limit to the total number of items that may be checked out, but students are asked to limit themselves to three books on one topic. Students may check their personal accounts for all checked out materials, including textbooks, through the BHS Library Online Catalog.
Photocopying
There is one coin-operated photocopy machine located within the BHS Library for student use. Library materials may be photocopied as an alternative to checkout. Printing from computer workstations in the library is allowed, however, students are asked to limit themselves to ten pages a period.
Color printing is available. Students may print two free colored copies per period after which a fee of $0.50 per page is charged.
ID Cards for Computer Access
All students should have their ID card in order to access a computer. There are two separate computer labs as well as 26 computer workstations and 22 laptops located in the main library. These computers are available for student research and assignments.
