On June 6, middle schoolers are invited to Ride the Wave at a middle school dance at Atonement Church, 909 E. Main St. The beach-themed party is $10 for admission and $1 snacks. All proceeds from the dance will benefit Ride for 3 Reasons. Ride for 3 Reasons is an effort to raise money and awareness for three important causes, Cancer, ALS and Hospice Care. In September of 2012, Barrington resident Bob Lee will embark on what he hopes will be a $1 million bike ride, riding from Canada to Mexico.
